Cost is $45.00 per ticket. Prom
t-shirts will be available to order on Monday, March 15th and March 22nd during
lunch hour. The cost is $10.00. Congratulations to Andrew Wipijewski for
winning 2 free Prom tickets in the annual fund raiser. Great Job and great

at WLHS to present Footsteps to the Cross. This unique worship service
will be in the auditorium at 7:00 P.M. No tickets are necessary.

Softball Open Gym
Though the calendar may not indicate it or the
weather outside feel like it….soon we will be playing softball. It’s time to dust off the glove for the 2010
Wisco girls’ fast pitch softball season.
All girls interested in playing fast pitch softball
are encouraged to participate in an open gym this Sunday, March 14, from 2:00
to 4:00 in the Auxiliary gym. This will
be the last open gym prior to the official start of the season, Monday, March
22. Think spring. Think softball.
Dance Team
Tryouts Information
Dance Team Try-out packets are now available in the
Central Office. Try-outs are open for all freshman, sophomore and junior
girls, and are for the 2010 -2011 fall and winter seasons. Be a part of
the NEW JV fall dance team!

help at the Friday, March 26th auction at Country Springs Hotel. We need
help between 4:30 pm and 10:30 pm greeting guests, coat check, runners, transporting
items to guests’ cars and more. We provide the pizza; you provide your
transportation to and from the hotel. Sign up today in the Central
Office. It’s a fun evening, and proceeds benefit WLHS and our tuition
assistance fund.

Last Wednesday,
the Forensics team traveled to Lake Country High School to participate in the
state Sub-District qualification meet. After only two rounds of
competition, everyone on the team received a high enough score to advance to
the next level of competition. Congratulations!

School District is offering driver education in summer school. Interested
students and parents must attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, March
24, 7:00 p.m. You do not have to be a resident of Pewaukee to enroll in
this class. More information is available in the Guidance Office.

The girls start
off the WIAA tournament TONIGHT at 7:00 PM here at WLHS. The girls will be playing Milwaukee
Lutheran. Also, just a reminder, that
all WIAA tickets are $4. Your student ID or passes will not gain you
admission for home or away games during the State Tournament Series. Come out and support your Lady Vikings!

Chess Team Wins 1st
Place
At the City Tournament on Thursday, the varsity
chess team went undefeated and took first place in their division. What
is more, there was only one individual loss all day. The JV team also did
very well by taking 3rd in their section. The team looks very well
prepared for the upcoming state tournament.

Basketball News
The boys' basketball team won their second
straight regional championship on Saturday, 71-55 over New Berlin
Eisenhower. Flavien Davis had 21 points and 12 rebounds, Terry Nash had
21 points and 8 rebounds, and Tim Rotruck had 8 points and 12 rebounds.
The next game for the boys' basketball team is on Friday, March 12 at Waukesha
West at 7:00 PM. We play #1 ranked Catholic Memorial. Their fans
chanted "We want Wisco" at the end of their regional game, so let's
pack the place and give them all they can handle! Friday at 7 at Waukesha
West - be there!
