The Foreign Language Department at WLHS provides students the opportunity to develop their gifts in the skills of reading, writing and speaking in other languages. They will also acquire cultural awareness outside of their current experience.
While these can prepare students for career and social interactions, the highest benefit will be evangelism opportunities which God provides with non-English-speaking people.
