Every teacher at Wisconsin Lutheran High School is called to “take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5b). However, it is in the Religion Department that our program of Christ-centered education reaches its zenith.

Our curriculum is designed in such a way that all graduates of our school leave as disciples of Jesus who can live and share their faith in a world of spiritual darkness.  It is our ultimate goal that our young people, by the working of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God, grow in an abiding faith that we are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ. Building upon foundational courses in God’s Word in the freshman and sophomore year, the junior year provides an in-depth study of Christian doctrine and Church history while the senior year caps the experience with a pool of electives in fourteen areas of study from which students are required to choose.

Our confidence is that the use of God’s inspired Word will strengthen faith and give our graduates the tools to practice scriptural discernment as they walk the pathways of their lives.
