The Creator and Preserver of our world has a purpose for the people He has made and sustains. His plan for humanity is that all people should be with Him in heaven. God sent His Son to make this plan a reality. The Lord also expects that the people who know Him would share their faith, so that His plan can be accomplished.
The mission of the Social Studies Department is to make connections between God’s plan of salvation and the social studies. Such a context will help students more fully appreciate what God’s love has done for them, and it will better equip them to share the message of sin and grace and lead repentant lives as citizens.
