WANTED:
WLHS Class Agents.
Friendly personality with an interest in
promoting Christian education. Enjoys reminiscing
about days at LHS/WLHS.
What
is a Class Agent?
A class agent is a representative of his/her
class or a combination of classes who serves as a
liaison between the class(es) and Wisconsin Lutheran
High School. Class agents will strengthen their
connection with WLHS and classmates while gaining
from a positive volunteer experience.
What
is a Class Agent’s responsibility?
Class agents contact their fellow alumni
and encourage them to attend school
activities and alumni events, volunteer at the
school, and prayerfully and financially support
WLHS.
Communication between class agents and alumni will
be done through letter writing, email, and/or phone
calls. Class agents will receive full office
support for their work, and reimbursement for any
predetermined expenses.
Class agents are asked to report updated address and
contact information of fellow alumni to the WLHS
Mission Advancement Office. Many times it is the
class agent who finds lost addresses and/or contact
numbers.
How
long does a Class Agent serve?
Class agents are asked to serve for a
minimum of 2 years, although the term is not limited
to a certain amount of time. You are encouraged to
serve as long as you are able.
How
much time is required?
Anticipate “working” no more than 2 hours
each month, although time will vary within each
year. An organizational meeting may be held
annually. You are also asked to submit a short
biography about yourself in which you might include
your education experiences, type of work or
retirement situation, your affiliation and
activities with WLHS, and/or brief family
information.
Will
my classmates know I am their Class Agent?
Yes. You will be introduced in the next
Contact publication and/or class agent
contact.
