course seeks to develop a health-conscious Christian who

decision making, Nutrition, Mental health, Human development,
Preventing substance abuse, and Modern health problems.

team activities and individual/lifetime sports. The course
helps students develop good health habits, physical
fitness, motor skills, and an appreciation and knowledge
of various sporting experiences. Activities include
country dance, badminton, hockey, pickleball, fitness,
in-line skating, scoops ball, and indoor soccer.Pre-req:

This required co-ed course combines

tennis, social dance, handball/racquetball, team handball,
fitness, ultimate Frisbee, and lacrosse. Pre-req: Phy

This class will help students
appreciate their God-given bodies and assist them in
developing good exercise and nutrition habits. The student
will develop and implement a 16-week exercise program.
Using the interactive CD-ROM "Active Trainer," the student
will be able to test and analyze their composition,
strength, and aerobic ability. From this analysis they
will write their own goals to be followed for three days
each week. Two days of the week will be set aside for
competitive activities based on units from Physical
Education 1 and 2. These activities include: basketball,
volleyball, racquetball, speedball, soccer, softball,
Frisbee football, flag football, and lacrosse.
