2008 Hall of Fame
Nominations
Nominations are being accepted for the 2008 WLHS Hall of
Fame. Any alum or friend of the high school may
nominate a candidate. The nominations are divided into five
categories: Athletic, Distinguished Alumni, Gifted
Ministry, Performing Arts, and Stewardship. The criteria for
each category is as follows:
Athletic:
A former WLHS athlete who performed with excellence and
earned multiple letters in a varsity sport. Must be a
graduate of WLHS and out of school for 10 years. Post-WLHS
athletic achievement may also be taken into consideration.
A coach who has distinguished himself/herself by
demonstrating exceptional Christian leadership, character,
and achievement during his/her ministry at WLHS or LHS.
Distinguished Alumni:
A graduate of WLHS who has distinguished
them self while pursing excellence in their chosen field of
endeavor.
Gifted
Ministry:
A called worker who has made significant contributions
as a called worker in the WELS towards the advancement of
Christ's Kingdom and Christian education at WLHS or LHS.
Performing Arts:
A graduate of WLHS who was active in the performing arts at
WLHS and has now become recognized as a leader in their
field of performance. This category includes musical arts,
visual arts, and drama.
Stewardship:
A nominee should be/have been a strong supporter of the WLHS
ministry through their gifts of time, talent or treasure. A
nominee will have to have displayed strong Christian
leadership through the support of our ministry.
