How Do I Plan A Class Reunion?
Following is a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding class reunion events.

Who may plan a class reunion?
Traditionally, the class officers initiate the planning process, although any eager classmate may make the first move. A short notice may be printed in the Contact to generate volunteers.  Ex: "Anyone interested in helping to plan the 25-year reunion for the Class of 1980, please contact Joe Smith at Jsmith@aol.com.

How far in advance should planning begin?
For reservations, mailings, and other details, most reunion committees allow for one year of planning. Informal gatherings require less preparation.

How do we publicize our event?
The Mission Advancement Office can help promote your event in two ways - through editions of the Contact, and through our website on the Alumni page.  Your reunion committee is responsible for mailing the event notices and/or invitations.  Any address, name, and phone updates discovered by the committee are important to future reunion planners, so please share them with the Mission Advancement as they become available.

How can we obtain class contact information?
Contact Kim Gajewski, Alumni Relations Coordinator, in the Mission Advancement Office at (414) 453-4567 x 2015 or at kpgajews@wlhs.k12.wi.us to obtain your reunion kit, which contains current contact information, address labels, and information for your classmates, or for help in getting started.

Who pays for the cost of a reunion?
Most reunion committees include food, mailing, and additional expenses in the “ticket” price for the event. The WLHS Business Office can provide a tax-exempt number to help lower reunion costs.

What events are usually included?
The sky is the limit!  From Homecoming cookouts, luncheon gatherings, tours of WLHS, dinner cruises, or golf outings, the list of reunion options is endless. The event can last one evening, or an entire weekend.

And, after the reunion?
Share a reunion summary and up to three photos with the Mission Advancement Office.  The MA Office will publish and mail a reunion summary report to your classmates and post it on the WLHS website.  Also, a copy of your reunion booklet or program and any additional name or address updates should be given to WLHS at this time.
