the Mission arranges
student mission teams which travel to other countries or parts
of the United States. These teams assist missions with VBS,
canvassing, painting, distributing flyers, teaching English,
distributing humanitarian aid and other helpful tasks.
Skills:
Freshmen,
Sophomores, and Juniors are eligible to apply. Some trips
require students to have taken one or more years of Spanish.
Certain other special skills or talents may be desirable
depending on the nature of the individual trip. Students must
be willing to try to communicate in situations where English
is not the primary language.
Join:
Trips are announced several months
in advance. Students who express an interest may contact
Ms.
Karen Kilchenmann. Information is also available at the
Central Office.
