Student
Council members are
elected by the student body. They need signatures from a
percentage of the members of their class to be nominated. They
are chosen by the Student Council advisor and a selection
committee. The council organizes social activities, mission
opportunities, and service opportunities for the school.
Skills: Any student
with leadership skills or the desire to learn these skills is
eligible. Students must be academically eligible and are
elected or appointed to this position.
Commitment: Council
members meet each Tuesday during class for the entire school
year. Freshmen are elected in fall with elections again in
spring.
