Of the WLHS co-curricular ensembles that performed, 164 medals were awarded. Tragoudi, one of the three steel bands at Wisco, and Inspiration earned a first rating. Olivia Gerbing and Mikaela Sullivan were the first two Wisco students ever to perform a solo on steel pan. In addition, the following ensembles earned a trip to the state competition: Jubilation, Ichthys Steelband, Brass Ensemble, Chi Ro Steelband, Percussion Ensemble, Saxophone Ensemble, Wisco Kids, and Jazz Ensemble.
Solo performers Lauren Braatz, Katie Fendrick, Joshua Lyu, Philip Kolodzinski, Chan Chu, Robert Reinke, and Emma Pufahl earned silver medals. Gold medals were awarded to Grace Daley, Una Luo, Sophie Munson, Phil Kolodzinski, Hannah Behroozi, Abbey Ossmann, Karah Valerio, Emma Pufahl, Emily Miao, Jamare McMurtry, Elisabeth Meyer, Joshua Lyu, Eden Nass, Nina Schabow, Blessed Ikuobolati, Lexy Miles, and Jonas Doerr.
Earning a trip to state in either a solo, duet, or quartet include: Alicia Mengel, Lauren Butler, Grace Rindfleisch, Emily Techlin, Cedric Cacciotti, Claire Leverence, Blessed Ikuobolati, Nina Schabow, Eden Nass, Elisabeth Meyer and Joshua Lyu.
Of special note are students who earned a perfect score on their class A solo. This is certainly a high honor and a recognition of their dedication to using their God-given abilities. Earning a perfect score and a trip to state were: Miriam Snyder on bassoon. Nathaniel Frisque on alto saxophone, Ingrid Buschkoph on violin. Benji Doerr on violin. and Joshua Lyu on piano.
