April is National Donate Life Month
Many people in the Wisco family have been impacted by organ donors. It is fitting to recognize this since April is National Donate Life Month! Over 36,000 organ donations were performed in 2018, but many more are still waiting. Including Wisco alum Joel Kammueller ('88) and Ezekiel Gipson ('00) who are both looking for kidney donors. Recent kidney donor, Cynthia (Fitzsimmons) Krueger ('99), Assistant Director of Alumni Development at WLHS says, "Being a living organ donor was NEVER on my bucket list. Donating a kidney was an incredibly humbling experience. I was surprised at what a gift it was in my life and how it strengthened my faith and trust in God's unique plans for our lives. Never doubt what a difference YOU can make in this world!"
