Two years ago today, March 16, 2020, Governor Evers announced a shelter in place order that closed schools, moving us into asynchronous virtual instruction until the end of the semester. Significant mitigation measures including hybrid learning marked the following (2020-21) school year. Today we operate under near normal conditions with no students in quarantine.
The two-year anniversary of shelter in place can prompt plenty of reflection, but let one truth rise above any memory: God is faithful. Wisco's 119 year history has spanned the Great Depression, two world wars, and more than one pandemic. Most important, our operation is still founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. By his grace and to his glory we continue to serve, and "in shadow of the Almighty" (Psalm 91:1) we rest.
