  • Featured Wisco Champion for May

The featured Wisco Champion for May is Dan Beyer ('87).

I have always supported Wisco since I graduated in '87 through donations at church or other opportunities when they arose. After coaching for a couple of years and getting to know quite a few students it helped me realize how great of an opportunity Wisco was for not only outreach, but also a great education and great environment. I was looking for an opportunity to support Wisco on a more consistent basis. It was at this time I saw the new Champion program and was one of the first to join.

Through my contribution, I can continue to cheer on the students as they excel in academics, create lifelong Christian friendships, and gain confidence in their various pursuits using their God-given abilities. After being on campus for the first time in a number of years last fall, I realized that God is continuing to do some amazing things at Wisconsin Lutheran."

(pictured left) "Even though my experience was different than my sister’s during high school, the overall mission then and still is to prepare young adults to lead productive, Christ-centered lives in a diverse world.
