  • Featured Wisco Champion for January

The featured Wisco Champion for January 2019 is Da'Sha Wilbern ('11).

I joined Wisco Champions because I love WLHS. The most important way Wisco has helped me was showing me how to stay close to God. When I went to college, Wisco prepared me for college-level classes, and I even filled in to teach in some of my classes as a teacher's aid. The reason why I wanted to join Wisco Champs was to make sure someone has the same, or even better, education than I received. Since I can't be there to volunteer, why not donate?

As a college student, supporting WLHS can be easy as buying one less cup of coffee or eat one less time out every month. I am glad to have this opportunity to give back to my high school. I want to start early with little steps and accumulate a big difference.

  • Featured Wisco Champions for October

The featured Wisco Champions for October are Steve and Diane Hoehnke, parents of Wisco alumni.

We are proud to be Wisco Champions because we are passionate about WLHS and Christian education. Our children, Erin (’14) and Joshua (’15) both received a high quality education that prepared them for college and beyond. But more importantly, they learned about their Savior, Jesus. They were in an environment to explore their faith and grow in that faith surrounded by faculty and staff who shared that faith and really cared about them. We continue to support WLHS because this world desperately needs what Wisco graduates have—the love of Jesus to share.
