Cross Country Team Shares the Mission in Colorado
Fourteen members of the boys cross country team recently traveled to Boulder, Colorado with Coach Lueck for a combined mission trip/running camp. The boys helped Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church with a soccer VBS. They had the privilege of working with 72 kids almost half of whom were unchurched. They shared Jesus through their actions and words. The church was so thankful for our help.
In addition, the boys got to enjoy the beautiful creation of Colorado by visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, rafting the Arkansas River, going into Boulder, and attending a Colorado Rockies baseball game.
It was an outstanding mission trip and XC camp, and the boys made some great memories as Christian brothers and teammates.
