Badger Bound - Saturday, October 27

On Satruday, October 27, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., UW-Madison will be hosting Badger Bound, a full-day program for low income, first generation, and/or students of color who are seniors interested in attending the university. Students will see why the university is not only a place to receive a world-class education, but a home where you can discover new interests, develop your talents, and find a community of support while you pursue your academic and extracurricular passions.
Those coming from Milwaukee will have the option to take a bus to Madison. Buses will leave from Milwaukee Marshall High School (North side), Riverside University High School (East side), and South Division High School (South side). Bus capacity is limited, so sign up early by clicking here. There will be an Admissions staff member on each bus to check in registered students and guests. If you choose to ride a bus, you must use the transportation both ways.

The event will include breakout sessions where you’ll learn about undergraduate research opportunities, find out what it’s like to attend a lecture as a student on our campus, hear from current UW students about their unique Wisconsin Experiences, and learn how to transition to life at UW-Madison. You’ll explore our campus on a tour that will highlight multicultural spaces and opportunities. We’ll explain how to navigate the application process and share everything you’ll need to know about financial aid. The day will conclude with a resource fair where you can connect with numerous campus offices and multicultural student organizations.
