Volleyball Players Stepping Up
On Tuesday October 9, San Diego Padre's catcher, AJ Ellis, spoke with the girls volleyball team as they started preparation for the conference tournament and the WIAA playoffs. Some of the topics he discussed included servant leadership, preparation for athletic events, mental toughness, teamwork, and work ethic. The Lady Viking volleyball members commented,"it reminded us to be humble even when we have success," "it really helped to put things into perspective," and "it was great to hear these things from someone who has played at the highest level."

Last Saturday, the volleyball team swept Saint Thomas More to win back to back Regional Championships. The Lady Vikes will be back in action Thursday, October 25, at 7:00 p.m. at Wisco facing Catholic Memorial in the sectional semifinals. Come on out and cheer them on!
