Hahm, Bonow Qualify for Individual State
Isaiah Hahm and Jason Bonow placed first and second, respectively, in their weight classes at the WIAA Individual Sectional Championship on Saturday, and advanced to Individual State competition. Ruben Micheel, Lucas Nygaard and Freddie Kyles all took fourth and could get called up to state competition if a wrestler drops out. Their efforts were part of a 3rd place team finish by the Vikings.
Bonow begins wrestling Thursday evening (2/21) at the first session which starts at 7:00 pm. Hahm, as a sectional champion, has a bye on Thursday. He begins wrestling at the 9:00 am session on Friday morning (2/22). The tournament is at the Kohl Center in Madison. For details, click here.

Team State is on the following Saturday (3/2) at the UW Fieldhouse in Madison. The semifinals begin at 10:00 am. If victorious the finals begin at 3:00 pm.
