Spread the Gospel in Ethiopia

Every year the Wisco family pulls together to raise funds for a mission cause in an effort we call Our Hands for His Service (OHFHS). Driven primarily by a collaboration of student groups, OHFHS also invites our conference elementary schools to join the cause. This year, OHFHS hopes to raise $30,000 for a ministry named Taste of Ethiopia whose mission is taken from James 1:27 that reads in part ". . . look after orphans and widows."
At present, Taste of Ethiopia operates a fully licensed portable kitchen (truck) in Green Bay where they bring authentic Ethiopian food to farmers markets, weddings, and a variety of other events. Rave reviews are mounting. The rolling restaurant is a non-profit with all proceeds going to improve life for Ethiopian orphans with education, substantial food, and the gospel. Why Ethiopia? That's the home country of Tesfaye Joyce, one of the ministry team of three and a WLC graduate. The next phase of their mission is to put a truck in Ethiopia itself.

At Wisco, OHFHS season is marked by a variety of events which generate not only revenue but loads of rich fellowship. Click here to see some of the upcoming events.
