The Lions scored first, cashing in an lead-off walk with a two-out double in the bottom of the 1st. The Vikings responded with two in their next at bat, taking advantage of an Eisenhower error and an RBI single by Caleb Bilitz. But Eisenhower scored single runs in both the second and third innings to regain the lead at 3-2.

Wisco would go in front for good in the 4th. Gavin Vrana singled in Elliot Imberger with the tying run, Kyle Ristow drove in Bilitz with the go-ahead run, and Ruh gave himself some breathing room with a two-out, two-run double to score Vrana and Jack Olson. The Vikings tacked on four more runs in the top of the 7th, capitalizing on three hit batsmen, a passed ball, and a balk to go up 10-2. Ruh capped things with a two-run single before handing the game off to the bullpen for the bottom of the inning.

In addition to Ruh's 4-hit game, Bilitz went 3-for-5 at the place with two runs scored and an RBI. Olson, Raabe, and Imberger chipped in with two-hit games.
