WIAA Playoff Update

Last Friday, the second ranked boys cross country team competed in the WIAA Sectional Meet and qualified for the State Cross Country Championship which will take place this Saturday, November 2, in Wisconsin Rapids. This is the tenth straight year that the boys have qualified. Congratulations to Chente Janik, Silas Ebeling, Adam Kriefall, Garrett Doan, Reed Noel, Nick Wendl and Michael Miller.

The girls cross country team also competed at the sectional championship on Friday.  Congratulations to Emma Johnson and Alyssa Ebeling, who qualified for the state championship. They will compete in Wisconsin Rapids this Saturday as well.
The volleyball team won their third consecutive regional championship last Saturday. Their next match is the WIAA Sectional Semifinal on Thursday, October 31, at home in the main gym at 7:00 p.m. against Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School. Come out and cheer on the Lady Vikes!

The football team qualified for the WIAA playoffs for the 19th time in the 20 years since being in the WIAA! The varsity football team narrowly lost 34-35 in last Friday's WIAA Level 1 playoff game against Plymouth High School. The team wraps up their season with a record of 4-5 and 4-4 in conference play. They finished fifth in the West Division of the Woodland Conference.

The boys soccer team finished their season ninth out of 14 teams in the West Division of the Woodland Conference. They lost 3-1 in the second round of the playoff season to Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School. On the way to this finish, Titus Kostrzewa ('20) set a single season goal scoring record. The team also enjoyed a tournament in Wisconsin Dells where they had a 1-1 record.
