As a part of our Black History Month observance, WLHS welcomed Mr. Charlie Weddle for a presentation after chapel on Wednesday, February 19. Mr. Weddle is a seasoned citizen who grew up picking cotton in Tennessee and later broke the color line in Wisconsin stock car racing despite clear opposition to him based on race. A strong Christian and St. Marcus Lutheran Church member, Mr. Weddle speaks frequently to young people encouraging them to push through obstacles with God’s help and to avoid being a victim. Click
