WSMA Solo Ensemble Festival
This past weekend over 100 Wisco students participated in the WSMA Solo & Ensemble Festival to celebrate the musical gifts God has blessed them with. In total, Wisco brought home 219 medals; 187 of which were gold.
Ensembles earning the highest recognition and a trip to the State level were: Percussion Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Wisco Kids, Inspiration, Viking Steel, a percussion quartet of Orie Swiontek, James Carter, Jon Kannenberg, and Robert Reinke, and a woodwind quartet of Miriam Snyder, Lauren Butler, Lauren Braatz, and Emma Pufahl. Soloists earning a trip to state include Robert Reinke, Michael Kuether, Elisabeth Meyer, Molly Mars, Nina Schabow, Cat Chu, Blessed Jimoh, Ingrid Buschkoph, Benji Doerr, Lucy Li, Emily Miao, Jacob Alejandro, Grace Daley, Una Luo, Hannah Behroozi, Miriam Snyder, Jonas Doerr, Lexy Miles, Natalie Hatzung, McKenna Friske, and Nathaniel Frisque.
