Athletic Department Information - Attention Student Athletes
Obtaining a Participation Card is necessary to try out for a sport at WLHS. A Participation Card is secured by the athlete from the Receptionist and presented to the coach of your sport on the first day of try-outs. The Participation Card assures the coach that the WIAA mandated registration is completed and you are eligible for participation in interscholastic athletics. Under no circumstances are you allowed to try out or practice for a sport without your Participation Card. The sooner you complete your information, the better!
To get your Participation Card, you need to do the following:
1. Have a physical examination (good for two years beginning April 1) by a licensed physician and return the signed and completed physical form to the Receptionist. (Physical exam forms are available at www.wlhs.org)
2. Visit the WLHS Athletic Registration site here to create an account for your family.
3. Complete and submit online, all forms that you find on the Athletic Online Registration.
4. After completing the online registration and turning in the physical form to Central Office, pick up your Participation Card from Central Office

No student may participate in a try-out session or practice until this participation card is picked up and given to the coach. This must be done EACH YEAR!
