Wisco Grad Flies Helicopter Over White House
On the 4th of July, WLHS grad, Josiah Ricke ('12), had the special honor of being selected to fly over the White House. Josiah serves in the Marine Corps and is training to fly AH-1Z attack helicopters. He is currently stationed in Jacksonville, NC. It was a combination of his skills and the random draw that gave him this special opportunity.
Josiah notes that his time in high school with the WiscoXC program helped him be better prepared for his life and work in the military, similar to the "band of brothers" that he now has in the military. Josiah was a captain on the Wisco 2011 State XC Championship team.
