Boys XC Wins Rocket Invite With Perfect Score

The boys cross country team placed seven runners in the top ten en route to a perfect score and a first place finish at South Milwaukee's Rocket Invitational on Saturday.

The Vikings claimed the first five finishers in the race for a perfect score of 15. Nick Wendl was the overall champion in a time of 16:35.4. He was followed by Luke Wegner (2nd, 16:38.2), Vicente Janik (3rd, 16:53.3), Michael Miller (4th, 17:05.4), and Adam Kriefall (5th, 17:20.5). Tristan Sanchez (7th, 17:23.3) and Jacob Alejandro (9th, 17:33.4) also raced to top-ten finishes.
