Girls XC Fourth at Subsectional, Kuehn Advances
The girls cross country team put together its best race of the season on Tuesday night but ended up fourth at the WIAA subsectional meet. Freshman Eva Kuehn advanced to Saturday's sectional championship on the strength of a second-place individual finish.
Kuehn covered the 5,000 meter course at Rivermoor Golf Club in a personal-best 19:02.4. She won the early session and placed second in the combined standings.
Senior Alyssa Ebeling was the team's second runner (20:57.8) in her final race. Full results are available here.
The sectional championship will be held on Saturday at Mitchell Park in Brookfield.
