Football Suffers Late Loss
Edgewood connected a 92-yard touchdown pass with 59 seconds remaining to complete a 16-15 comeback win over the Vikings on Friday night.
After an early field goal by the Crusaders, Bryce Pagel found Brendan Lane for a 58-yard TD strike, then ran in the conversion to make it 8-3, Wisco. In the second quarter, it was Lane who took to the air, connecting with Sam Olson on a 14-yard touchdown.
But after a scoreless third quarter for both teams, Edgewood scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to overtake the Vikings - one with just under seven minutes left, and one with just under one minute to play.
