Virtual Reality

As with many things this year, the Business Ed. Department had a need to reimagine hosting the annual financial literacy event known as "Reality Store." Fortunately, River Credit Union had the answer with their Digital Test Drive program. This program filled the same purpose as our Reality Store event has for many years: to prepare our seniors for the financial budgeting and decisions that adults make on a monthly basis. Seniors met with Mr. Jason Goede, Business Ed. Department Chair, via Google Meet to begin their simulation, and then completed it at home using their Chromebooks. While we plan for a return to our face-to-face event in 2022, we are thankful for the opportunity to provide these lessons in using God-given talents and resources wisely to our young people.
