Each spring the Wisconsin Department of Instruction (DPI) requires all freshmen and sophomores to write the ACT Aspire. WLHS 9th and 10th graders will write on Tuesday, April 20 in-person, at school in accord with DPI standard. Testing will begin at 7:45 a.m. Please note that students arriving after 7:45 a.m. are not allowed admittance. Testing will end about 2:00 p.m.
Students are permitted two breaks and lunch. They can purchase food at the cafeteria from a limited menu or bring lunch from home. Eating and drinking are not allowed in the testing rooms.
Please note the following test-preparation checklist. Students should:
arrive with a fully-charged Chromebook (bring charging cord along),
bring a calculator if possible which is allowable for the math portion of the test (WLHS will not provide a calculator),
bring pencils and scratch paper (though not required),
watch for an e-mail on Friday, April 16, which gives their testing room assignment
