Girls Track Places Second at Muskego

Despite winning just three events, the girls track and field team used its depth to place 2nd at the six-team Muskego Invitational on Saturday.

The day was highlighted by freshman Eva Kuehn's victory in the 1600 run. She edged out Annika Elliott of Shorewood by 0.12 seconds to win the race in a time of 5:15.63, which ranks her among the top 25 season performances in Wisconsin to date and places her 6th in school history.

Elsewhere, Malia Lee won the shot put and Jaiah Hopf won the 300 hurdles. Full results are available here.

The Vikings compete at the Greendale Quadrangular on Wednesday, May 19, and host the Carleton Sitz Invitational on Saturday, May 22. The girls team will compete in the morning session.
