XC Boys Take Home First

On Saturday, September 18, the Wisco boys cross country team took home first place, out of 40 teams, in the Angel Invitational hosted by Racine St. Catherine's at UW-Parkside. The boys were led by top ten finishes from Silas Ebeling ('23) (2nd), Nick Wendl ('23) (9th), and Michael Miller ('22) (10th). More than 250 runners competed in the race. Wisco boys cross country, currently ranked ninth in WI Division I, beat the seventh ranked team on Saturday. The next cross country race is at the Midwest Invitational on Saturday, September 25, where they will race against a field of 40 teams and several top ten ranked teams. The boys are currently 58-2 on the season.
