Welcome Boys & Girls Basketball Teams!
In the past WLHS has hosted girls’ and boys’ basketball tournaments for our conference elementary schools every winter. This year the format has been changed to the Lutheran Athletic Association Grade School Basketball Showcase on February 12 and 19. We are hopeful the showcase format will combine friendly competition on the main floor with an open house atmosphere for our conference families. Click here for showcase schedules.
An anticipated 24 conference teams will participate in the showcase. The tournament bracket scheme will be replaced by pairings of schools that will allow both a school’s boys’ and girls’ teams to play in back-to-back contests that create a more efficient spectating schedule for families. In addition, all games will be played on the main floor, and various WLHS staff, athletes, and organizations will be more involved in hosting the pairings.
