Henn & Jackson Bound for State Wrestling

WLHS Juniors Coen Henn and Jordan Jackson are headed to the WIAA Individual State Wrestling Championships after winning their respective weight classes at the sectional meet at Homestead High School. Henn and Jackson will compete at the Individual State Championships in Madison. Preliminary round matches begin at the Kohl Center at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24.
Henn (113) defeated Beckham Staus of Menomonee Falls by fall in just 40 seconds in the semifinals, then took down Oliver Crum of Wauwatosa in 39 seconds in the first place match. Jackson (285) topped Alec Perelshtein of Homestead by decision (2-1) in the semi-finals, then defeated Max Stuhlmacher of Nicolet by fall in 5:59 to win the sectional.

Seven other Viking wrestlers competed at the sectional meet. Nathan Weber (152) was the only one to advance beyond the quarterfinals. He ended up placing fourth. Wisco scored 54 points in all, good for sixth place out of 13 teams.
