Girls Track Wins Indoor Conference

The girls track & field team completed the first leg of the triple crown, cruising to victory at the Woodland West Indoor Championships on Wednesday night at New Berlin West.

The Vikings won 9 of 16 events and easily outpaced runner up New Berlin Eisenhower by 20 points. Jaiah Hopf paced the team with four individual championships. She won the long jump, triple jump, 55m dash, and 200m dash. Eva Kuehn was also a multi-event winner. She earned titles in the 1600m run and 800m run. Audreyanna Scott won the 55m hurdles and anchored the team to victory in the 4 lap relay. Annabelle Coudron, Bella Backus, and Myla Ellis joined Scott on that relay, and Allie Orlowski claimed the top spot in the pole vault.
