First Ever Submissions for WSMA Student Composition Project
Three Wisco student musicians composed for the 2022 WSMA Student Composition Project. Congratulations to Nathaniel Frisque ('22), Nathaniel Crowder ('24), and Allie Bauer ('23) for first time submissions. Nathaniel Frisque's piece for Jazz Ensemble, "Blame it On the Boogie," took first place in the category for arrangements. His arrangement premiers at the 2022 Prism Concert.
Allie's composition "Flowers" and Nathaniel Crowder's composition piece for Steelband, "Midnight Nova," were premiered at the 2022 Spring Band Concert.
