Girls Track Competes at Hale
The girls track team survived frigid conditions in the first meet of outdoor season, the Mondo Invitational at West Allis Hale on Saturday.
The weather forced some scratches from the Viking lineup, but the team earned enough points to place 6th out of 20 competing teams. Eva Kuehn brought home the title in the 3200 run with a thrilling finish. She clipped the second place runner by just .01 seconds. Annabelle Coudron, Jaiah Hopf, and Kayla Wigley placed second in the 100 dash, long jump, and high jump, respectively.
