Vikings Shut Out Bulldogs
The frigid temperatures could not cool off the Wisco bats or Carlos Walta's arm on Wednesday night. The Vikings put up a baker's dozen and Walta fired a one-hitter in a 13-0, five-inning victory at West Allis Central.
Walta struck out 10 and allowed just two walks. He also paced the Vikings at the plate with a 3-4 day that included two RBI. Logan Abramowski drove in a team-high four runs as part of a 2-4 performance. Lucas Oswald added a pair of hits and two runs scored and Ethan Muma and Ziggy Johnston each swiped three bases, part of a season-high 10 thefts for Wisco.
The Vikings travel to Greenfield on Friday for a 4:45 contest.
