WLHS Welcomes Back Mr. Micah Walz

Mr. Micah Walz ('00) is our new athletic director. He has strong ties to Wisco as an alum, son of retired vice principal Dale Walz, and brother of Justin ('96) and Ryan ('92). Previously, Mr. Walz served as an interim principal, teacher and/or athletic director at three conference elementary schools: Star of Bethlehem, St. Jacobi, and Garden Homes. He has a Masters in curriculum and instruction from UW–Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Science in education from Martin Luther College. Micah and his wife, Natalie (Nelson '02), are busy parents of Layla (12), Mason (10), Zoey (7), and Sadie (4). The Walz family are members at Star of Bethlehem where their children also attend school. During Mr. Walz's spare time, he enjoys hiking, coaching his children's sports, spending time with family and friends, and the occasional home improvement project.
