Servant Leadership to Antigua
One of the blessings of a WLHS education is the opportunity to support WELS missions at home and abroad. WLHS has a partnership with mission church St John's Ev. Lutheran School, on the Caribbean island of Antigua and each year collects school supplies in a school-wide drive. Five students had the opportunity to deliver several hundred pounds of supplies including 32 chromebooks.
As part of the trip, these students were able to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of St. John's Ev Lutheran Church, Antigua, attend Bible study and a sing along night, participate in a field trip with fifth grade students, and attend chapel. We thank God for keeping our mission safe as we continue our partnership with brothers and sisters in Antigua. Additional thanks to Trinity Lutheran Church, Waukesha, for the donation of chromebooks.
