FBLA Students Headed to State

In its inaugural year, the WLHS chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is sending top-finishing students to State competition on April 17-18, in Green Bay. At the Wisconsin Regional Conference (Region 7) competition on February 4, at Big Foot High School (Walworth, Wis.), these students placed strong enough to qualify for State (pictured left to right):
  • Dora Dinh ('24) - automatic qualifier (Coding & Programming)
  • Adalin Bogenschneider ('25) - 2nd place (Advertising)
  • Frank Quam-Pham ('24) - 3rd place (Political Science)
  • Jack Goelz ('23) - 1st place (Insurance and Risk Management)
  • As a 4th place finisher, Scott Cousins ('24) was called up as an alternate, and will present under Supply Chain Management
The students agreed that joining FBLA came from a general interest in business but not knowing exactly what FBLA had to offer. Adaline says, "I want to get into the business field, so I thought I would see what FBLA could offer for resources and ways to help me learn more." FBLA Wisconsin Lutheran High School chapter is led by faculty advisors Mrs. Shakirah Cousins and Mr. Jason Goede.
