Wrestling Success to End the Season
Wisco wrestling had an exciting end to the 2022-23 season. At WIAA Individual State Wrestling Tournament the weekend of February 24-25, Izabella Riebe ('26) took home runner up, and Jordan Jackson ('23) captured fifth place. Wisco took to state five sectional champions including: Leah Lawrence ('25), Olivia Ramirez ('23), Jordan Jackson ('23), Coen Henn ('23), and Izabella Riebe ('26). Congratulations are also in order to Jordan Jackson and Izabella Riebe, selected by Woodlands Conference wrestling coaches, as Male Wrestler and Female Wrestler of the Year.
As a freshman, Izabella was both sectional and state runner up in her weight class. Senior Jordan was conference, regional and sectional champion, as well as taking fifth place in his weight class. Wisco is blessed to have such a dedicated and Christ-centered wrestling program.
