Funtivity @ Lunar New Year Party
Kary X. (junior from Zhenhai, China) describes Wisco's third annual Lunar New Year Party.
"On January 27, Our Funky Family had a party for Lunar New Year. It is my second time to celebrate Chinese new year in America. Even though we miss Chinese food and my family, our school invited many students and parents and we ate a lot of Chinese food and had fun with our friends and family in America. It was really good to feel like staying with family and friends especially in a foreign country to celebrate new year.
There are many games in the party, such as KTV (karaoke), calligraphy, ping pong and so on. I sang some songs with my friends, and it was really fun. I did not feel lonely even I am in a foreign country during the new year. I am very thankful that our school had a party like this for us."
