Share the Mission 2017 - International Trips Announced

Each summer 30-45 Wisconsin Lutheran High School students travel to various countries and parts of the United States on mission trips through the Share the Mission program. These teams assist in spreading the gospel throughout the world while experiencing mission work firsthand.  
  • US trips are open to sophomores and juniors and locations will be announced soon.
  • International trips are open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
The international trips and corresponding dates are:
  • Grenada — April 14/15 - 23/24/25*
  • Mahahual, Mexico — June 9/10 - 19/20*
  • Sonora, Mexico — July 11/12 - 19/20*
  • Beijing, China — July 12/13-25/26*

*dates are finalized after airline tickets are reserved

In Grenada, students conduct summer camps and plan an Easter for Kids camp. Students also teach English to Chinese grade school students on the Chinese trip. For the Mexico trips, the group organizes recreation activities and teach Bible lessons. Students will need to have passports which are valid for at least 6 months after departure.

Grenda applications are due Friday, February 17, and for all other international trip applications are due by Tuesday, February 21. Applications are available in Central Office or through Ms. Karen Kilchenmann. Applicants for international trips will be able to add preferences for USA trips without having to complete an entirely new application.
