Boys Night

Micah Ricke
Gilbert Z. (junior from Hangzhou, China) describes a monthly tradition in the Funky Family - Girls / Boys Night. . .
"This Monday, the third boy’s night in the student homes was held. The same as usual, every boy's’ night we had a lot of fun!

After dinner, we went together to the auxiliary gym. The activity is dodgeball. The game is traditional to Americans, that most American students are well acquainted. The game works with two teams on different sides, and five balls are in the middle of the court. Teams need to rush to the middle and obtain the balls, hit the other team’s members until the other team is completely out, due to being hit by the balls. The first two rounds, two people in the same team were paired up, one foot of each tied together by a rope.

The spirit of teamwork was demonstrated in the first two rounds. In addition, the third round each person was freed. Everyone enjoyed the game, and the game, on the other hand, facilitated our friendships. Finally, we concluded the game with a prayer."
