Lunch Program Year-End Process

As the school year comes to a close, we would like to let you, the parents and students, know how the year-end lunch program process works:
  1. Seniors and those students not returning next year, with a balance over $10, must request to be put on the Lunch Refund List in order to get their "Viking Dollars" refunded at the end of the year. Balances can also be transferred to a sibling's account by e-mailing chef@wlhs.org. NEW this year are family accounts. To avoid having to transfer balances in the future, you can e-mail chef@wlhs.org with your children's names/id numbers and they will be linked to the same account and share the same balance. This eliminates the need to keep track of individual viking dollar balances. You can make one deposit which is shared between all members on the account. Refunds must be requested at the reception window no later than May 24, 2017. Those on the Viking Dollars Lunch Refund List will have checks mailed to them in June. Those who do not make a request, will lose all money in their account.

  2. All students are encouraged to view their balance daily at checkout to ensure proper funds are available toward the end of the school year.

  3. All students with a negative balance must be current in their account to fulfill requirements for graduation. Those with a negative balance will be reminded daily at checkout until all balances in arrears are taken care of.
