The fall season of sports has wrapped up for our student athletes. In Wisco's inaugural season in the Woodland Conference, football placed 5th, volleyball placed 3rd, and boys cross country placed 3rd. See how all sports did
Football
The boys finished in 5th place in the Woodland West Conference, with a 3-5 record (3-6 overall). Adler Peterson (12) was selected first team all-conference lineman for both the offense and defense. Jacqueze Lockett (11) was also selected to the first team as a running back. Lucas Roecker (12), Sam Gerhard (11) and David Frey (11) were elected to the Honorable Mention team. Volleyball
The girls team finished in 3rd place in the Woodland Conference West during the season. At the Woodland Conference Tournament that includes both East and West, the Vikings made it to the semi-finals, finishing 3rd in the 14-team event. The girls finished their season as the WIAA Regional Champions, posting victories over Audubon, New Berlin West and Racine St. Catherine’s to grab the title. The Vikes were defeated in the Sectional semi-final by Catholic Memorial.

Boys Soccer
The boys’ soccer team finished the season with a 6-8-4 record. Their 4-6-3 conference record placed them in 9th place in the 14-team conference. Late season injuries to multiple starters ground a promising season to an early halt in the 2nd round of the WIAA Regional Playoffs. Seth Boese (12) and Caden Luck (11) were selected to the Honorable Mention team for the Woodland Conference (14 teams). Ethen Nass was selected as WLHS’s Woodland Conference Senior Scholar Athlete for Soccer.

Lauren Konkol (12) who placed 4th and Michaela Sullivan (11) placed 8th earned First Team All-Conference honors. Kaitlyn Kieselhorst (12) Alyssa Ebeling (09) and Emma Johnson (09) rounded out the team scoring, each earning Honorable Mention all-conference spots. The girls ran very well again in the WIAA Sectional Championships, finishing runner up and earning their 14th consecutive berth in the WIAA State Meet, where they finished 8th. Lauren Konkol was selected as WLHS’s Woodland Conference Senior Scholar Athlete for Cross Country.
