Wisco at Choral Fest 50th Anniversary

Both Inspiration and Wisco Kids choirs were a part of the 50th Choral Fest held in LaCrosse, Wis. last weekend on Nov. 10-12. Each year, WELS Lutheran high schools from around the country send their travel choir or honors choir for a Friday night show choir concert, weekend of rehearsals, and Sunday afternoon sacred concert to end the festival. This year was the national choral fest with more than 20 schools participating. Inspiration choir director, Mrs. Gretchen Schram, has been taking a choir to Choral Fest since 1998. "It is experiencing a little taste of heaven," Mrs. Schram says, "to hear all the choirs, alumni choir, and the commissioned piece by Dale Witte."
