Lunar New Year

Welcome to the Year of the Rat! One of the highlights of the year for our students who are far from home is the annual International Lunar New Year party. Students of Honey Creek Hall, international homestay students, homestay families, mentors, and other friends gathered to celebrate and share this intercultural event. Harry Tang (‘20) and Una Luo (‘20), Quang Le (‘21), and Oumjy Zhang (‘21) shared presentations about the new year celebrations of China, Vietnam, and Korea, respectively. Students and guests enjoyed authentic food from local Asian restaurants, exchanged language, tried their hand at calligraphy, played some East Asian games, and sang karaoke for hours! Happy New Year!
